Giovani Lo Celso Reported to leave from Tottenham
By db-admin
DBasia.news – The future of midfielder Giovani Lo Celso with Tottenham Hotspur will be affected after Mauricio Pochettino’s sacking as a team coach. Because Lo Celso is also rumored to be leaving Tottenham in January.
This news is certainly very surprising considering that Giovani Lo Celso was just brought in by Tottenham Hotspur last summer. He was brought in from Real Betis at a cost of 35 million pounds.
Mauricio Pochettino was the one who convinced Lo Celso to move to North London. Aside from being both from Argentina, he believes that the coach can bring out his best abilities.
However, the former Real Betis player actually only felt 12 matches with Pochettino. The former Espanyol coach has been sacked and replaced by Jose Mourinho.
The captain’s transfer to Mourinho’s hands also affected the minutes of playing Lo Celso. Of the three matches under the care of the Special One, he only played once, and that was as a substitute in the 89th minute when Spurs won 3-2 over Bournemouth.
This situation makes Giovani Lo Celso uncomfortable and wants to get out of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Marca even reported that the 23-year-old was eager to return to Real Betis next January.
However, his move later to Betis is not a permanent player. The famous Spanish media reported that he returned to the Andalusian club with a status as a loan player until the end of the 2019-2020 season.
