DBasia.news – There is one exciting phenomenon behind the 2018-2019 Serie A who has been conducted for three matches. The top bombers: Cristiano Ronaldo (Juventus FC), Mauro Icardi (Inter Milan), and Gonzalo Higuain (AC Milan) haven’t scored any goal yet.

The fact that CR7 hasn’t succeeded to dismantle Serie A’s defensive line is the most highlighted one. No wonder, he was recruited with a 100 million euro price tag. Also, everyone used to see Ronaldo scoring goals regularly.

The former top-scoring striker from Italy, Luca Toni, raised his comment. He speculated Ronaldo won’t score 40 goals for a season in Serie A just like how he did it in LaLiga with Real Madrid. But he warned Juventus’ opponents that Ronaldo will be unstoppable once he scored a goal.

“When he starts scoring it’ll be very difficult for the others because he can score with both feet, his head, and from inside or outside the penalty box. He has a huge repertoire,” Toni said.

Furthermore, Toni also believed Higuain only needs time to progress with Milan. Moreover, the 4-3-3 scheme by coach Gennaro Gattuso will be a match with Higuain’s style.

“A 4-3-3 formation is ideal for Higuain, as was demonstrated while he played for Napoli when he was at the heart of all of their offensive plays. At Juventus, he had to change a little. Now, at Milan, he can afford to sacrifice himself less,” Toni explained.

In this opportunity, Toni also gave comment about goalless Icardi. Specifically for a striker like Icardi, the chance to score a goal is bigger if he is served by the teammates. Hence, he requires players like Ivan Perisic or Radja Nainggolan to spoil Icardi with passings.

“Icardi’s one of the world’s best in the last quarter of the pitch. Spalletti is clearly trying to improve his participation in the team’s build-up play. Icardi needs to help out more, but it’s also important for him to get good service from crosser’s of the ball and to have teammates who can create goal-scoring opportunities,” Toni revealed.
