DBasia.news – Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola believes his squad won’t get sanctioned performing in the Champions League due to the Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulation. Guardiola admits that he has got the explanation from the club’s high-officials.
Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are rumored collaborating with UEFA to make a fake report regarding the FFP. Les Parisiens and Man City are allegedly doing that to avoid the regulation.
UEFA responded that issue by conducting a repeated investigation. If proved, The Citizens might absent in the Champions League.
“We will not be banned, no,” Guardiola said.
Manchester City and PSG activities during the transfer market stole the attention. Both clubs signed the expensive players. In fact, some other Europe clubs try to tighten their budget to avoid the FFP regulation.
“That’s what I think because I have trust in my chairman, with my CEO, what they have explained to me,” Guardiola said.
“I have trust in them. [But] if it happens, because UEFA decide that, we will accept it and move forward,” the Spanish manager emphasized.
