Guardiola: Crucial to Reduce the Distance from Liverpool
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, said he was satisfied with the 3-1 win against Everton in the seventh week of the Premier League match which kept his side five points behind Liverpool at the top of the table.
Man City has had a hard time breaking into Everton’s goal and were forced to draw 1-1 in the first half, but were finally able to win at Goodison Park.
“We had a little trouble in the first half, in the second half we showed better quality,” Guardiola said.
“After the Liverpool results, it is important for us to reduce the fixed distance by five points,” he added.
“We want to win this league again. I want all the players involved and playing every player,” he continued.
“I understand everyone wants to play every game, but rotation is the only way to maintain game consistency for 11 months,” concluded Guardiola.
