Guardiola’s Reason for Rarely Playing Young Players

“They need process. These young players need time and the best way for them to develop is to not immediately become the main focus of the team. They must slow down in receiving playing time, “said Guardiola.

The former Bayern Munich coach said that players from the City academy were of high quality. But he did not want these young players to immediately get hammered in the rigors of English League competition.
