Hans Flick Will Fix Bayern Munich’s Defense
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Bayern Munich’s interim coach, Hans-Dieter Flick, will improve his team’s defense before implementing an offensive strategy.
This season, the backline is indeed the weak point of Die Roten. Of the 10 Bundesliga parties this season, goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has conceded 16 times. This figure is far below the achievement of RB Leipzig who conceded only 10 goals,
“In the party against Olympiakos, we are indeed focused on defending. (Thomas) Mueller ran for 12.6 KM and (Joshua) Kimmich for 13.6 KM. That certainly is a pretty good sign,” Hansi Flick said at a press conference session ahead of the Bayern vs Dortmund party.
“On the front lines, there are still several things that must be addressed. But, we are more focused on fixing a few things in the defensive sector. We will have a good attack when the defense plays to its full potential,” added Flick.
This approach does make some Bayern supporters feel less satisfied. Because Die Roten is known as a team that can score a lot of goals. However, Flick claimed no problem with the scorn that he got from the fans.
“In the party against Olympiakos, we want to print clean sheets. It also made the supporters who were present, dissatisfied because they were accustomed to watching the attacking game. But, that won’t happen soon,” said Flick.
