Harry Kane Doesn’t Want to Call Himself Loyal to Tottenham
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Harry Kane is both the captain and symbol of Tottenham Hotspur to this day. But that did not make him able to promise to be loyal with the team from North London.
Kane made his debut with Tottenham in the 2013-2014 season. He is a player from The Lilywhites academy, even though he had studied at Arsenal at the age of eight.
Slowly, Kane’s ability has increased. He was transformed into Tottenham’s mainstay in breaking into the opponent’s goal and so far has collected 181 goals from 278 matches.
Besides being sharp, Kane also has a character of a leader. Having the Tottenham and the England national team captain armband around his arm.
It’s no secret that many big clubs are interested in Kane. Real Madrid and Manchester United are even ready to spend quite a bit to bring in the 26-year-old striker.
Kane’s loyalty was tested. He claimed he could leave from Tottenham.
“I have always loved Spurs, but this is a different thing. I always say that if I feel we are not developing as a team or heading for a better direction, I certainly do not want to just survive,” Kane said in a live broadcast on Instagram.
“I am an ambitious player, I want to be even better. I want to be a top player, so it all depends on the team and how far the progress is.”
Tottenham have indeed experienced a decline in performance this season. Having become a Champions League finalist, they are now struggling in the Premier League in eighth place.
Kane’s statement could also be interpreted as a shock therapy to Tottenham’s management. He is waiting for the seriousness of the club to support Jose Mourinho to build a winning team.
