Hasan Salihamidzic Believed that Bayern Munich won the Bundesliga

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Director of Sports, Hasan Salihamidzic remains optimistic that Bayern Munich will win at the end of the season, even though it is still lagging behind the hunt for the 2019/2020 Bundesliga I title.

Until Bundesliga 1 completes 15 weeks, Bayern Munich is in the fifth position in the standings. They are six points adrift of RasenBallsport Leipzig who leads the standings with 33 points. Die Roten is even behind Borussia Moenchengladbach, Borussia Dortmund and FC Schalke 04.

Given that there are only two matches left in the first half, Bayern Munich almost certainly can not be a herbstmeister ‘champion of the season’. However, this did not make optimism Die Roten fade.

“It will not be easy for us to catch up. However, the title will only belong to Bayern Munich,” Hasan Salihamidzic said ahead of the match against SC Freiburg, as quoted by Football5Star.com from Sport1.

Hasan Salihamidzic emphasized that Die Roten’s focus now was to finish the first half sweetly. Their target, of course, earned full points from the match against Freiburg and VfL Wolfsburg.

“There are still many matches. We want to finish the last two matches of the first half successfully. After that, we will go to the training camp, do our best, and attack with full force,” explained Hasan Salihamidzic again.

Bayern Munich showed a resurgence since Niko Kovac was fired. Under the care of Hansi Flick, Robert Lewandowski et al. had earned four consecutive wins without conceding in all competitions. However, they then swallowed two successive defeats from Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Moenchengladbach. This has an impact on their position in the Bundesliga 1 standings.
