Henderson Praises Roberto Firmino When Against Southampton

DBasia.news –  Jordan Henderson praised the performance of his teammate, Roberto Firmino, as Liverpool managed to beat Southampton four goals without reply.

“Some of the things Roberto Firmino were doing were really crazy. “But he is an extraordinary player for us and that is another great performance from him,” said Henderson at Soccerway.

“Especially in the second half, everyone performed well. We are thrilled to achieve three points, “he added.

Liverpool won 4-0 against Southampton in the continuing English League at Anfield, Saturday (01/2/2020) PM. The Reds’ goals were scored by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jordan Henderson and Mohamed Salah (two goals).

The four goals came thanks to three assists from Roberto Firmino and one assist from Henderson. For Firmino, this is his seventh assist in the Premier League this season. He only lost three assists from his colleague, Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Roberto Firmino himself has defended Liverpool in 36 matches in all competitions this season. He also contributed 10 goals and 12 assists.

The victory has made Liverpool stronger at the top of the standings. The Reds are 22 points ahead of Manchester City who are below.

Liverpool in the next game will undergo an FA Cup rematch against Shrewsbury Town. This duel will be held at Anfield on February 5.
