DBasia.news – Abdulrasheed Umaru, the hattrick of Qatar to Indonesia national team in the second match of Group A 2018 U19 Asian Cup at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Senayan, Jakarta, last weekend is thankful of the victory. He expressed the gratitude after ensuring the 6-5 victory.

The U19 Qatar national team added the goal to 6-1. Hashim Ali (51′) and Abdulrasheed Umaru created two goals in the second half. Umaru also created his hattrick.

That was before U19 Qatar became anxious because U19 Indonesia national team started to equalize the situation.

After that, Garuda Muda squad scored four goals. Todd Rivaldo Ferre scored the hattrick at 65′, 73′, and 81′ after entering the pitch as the substitute player at 55′. Meanwhile, Saddil Ramdani created another goal at 69′.

The anxiety is becoming bigger because there is plenty of time for Indonesia to equalize the situation.

“There’s no word to describe the situation. Most importantly, we achieved three points and ready for the next match,” he told AFC.

Abdulrasheed Umaru admitted that he could score more than 3 goals for Qatar considering the wasted opportunities.

“I’m disappointed for losing two goals. Both goals, besides the three goals, would be a big benefit for us. But eventually, I’m relieved to win the match and looking forward to the upcoming match. Hopefully, we can qualify for the next round.”

“I did some mistakes. It happened in football. You can score the goal, a lot of goals, but you might lose it. When you do that, you have to fight,” Abdulrasheed Umaru added.
