By db-admin
DBasia.news – Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuian became the last Juventus player to return to Italy on Friday, when the Italian League prepared to resume competition on June 13.
Higuain arrived in Turin on a private jet on Friday night after stopping at Las Palmas, and immediately boarded the waiting car pickup.
Some media reported that the former Real Madrid, Chelsea and Napoli player will now undergo quarantine for two weeks.
The 32-year-old player left Italy on March 19 to accompany his ailing mother in Argentina, after confirming test results that he was negative of COVID-19 despite three Juventus players who tested positive for infection.
Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo arrived in Turin from Portugal on May 4 and is currently undergoing quarantine.
Higuain was the last player to return after French midfielder Adrien Rabiot docked on Wednesday night.
Italian League clubs will be allowed to conduct group training sessions on Monday (5/18), with the competition scheduled to resume next month.
