Iker Casilla’s Return to the Field

DBasia.news –  Iker Casillas spent more than six months to ensure that he was truly ready to return to the green field. Since suffering a heart attack at the end of April, the senior goalkeeper has begun training again with his club, FC Porto.

In fact, before Casillas had vowed to retire as a football player because of his condition. However, lately, there are still opportunities to recover as before which made him cancel plans to hang gloves.

In fact, the President of Porto, Pinto da Costa said that his party was negotiating with several agents and clubs to possibly bring in a new goalkeeper. The aim is to replace Casillas in the squad this season.

Casillas uploaded a picture of the shoe on his personal Twitter account as proof he was back. “Six months and three days you are kept in the box,” the message he tweeted. Green Adidas shoes with the name of his second son, Lucas, emblazoned in the photo.

AS reported, Casillas did not immediately join his other team-mates. The training team still asked him to train apart for about 25 minutes. The aim is to get him used to return to the grass.

During the recovery process, Casillas must undergo jogging training and some cardio training. He briefly underwent treatment at a local hospital for two weeks. Before finally being allowed to go home again.
