In 16 years, Perez Fired 12 Coaches in Real Madrid

DBasia.news – It’s not only Chelsea under Roman Abramovich who was known as the club with frequent changes of the coach. Real Madrid under Florentino Perez did the same. Real Madrid President has been handling the club for two periods, from 2000 to 2006 and from 2009 until now.
In 16 years under Perez, Madrid have been firing 12 coaches, and recently is Julen Lopetegui. The Spanish coach just stayed for 4 months as Madrid coach before sacked after the 1-5 defeat in El Clasico against Barcelona last weekend.
Lopetegui isn’t the only victim from Spain under Perez. There are still another names like Juandre Ramoz and Rafael Benitez. Six victims in Perez’s first period handling Madrid are Vicente Del Bosque, Carlos Queiroz. Jose Antonio Camacho, Mariano Garcia Remon, Vanderlei Luxemburgo, and Juan Ramon Lopez Caro.
Del Bosque stayed the longer, for three years and presented two LaLiga, Spanish Super Cup, and two Champions League, and UEFA Super Cup. Three years later, the coach inconsistency happened through the coach changes four times.
In the second period, there were 7 coaches sacked or resigned from Madrid, they are Manuel Pellegrini, Jose Mourinho, Carlo Ancelotti, Benitez, Zinedine Zidane, and Lopetegui. Just like another club in reviewing the coach, Perez just put the success or positive result as the parameter.
