Independiente Hoped Sergio Aguero to Return

DBasia.news –  Sergio Aguero hasn’t decided yet about his future career at this time. Therefore Independiente hoped that Aguero can rejoin them.

Aguero entered the final year of his contract with Manchester City. There are no signs that his stay will be extended by 2021.

City did not want to lose the top scorer at the moment because Aguero was rated to still be able to do much for the club. Especially since he was only 32 years old.

In the midst of speculation about his future, Aguero has received offers from several clubs, including his first club Independiente. Independiente felt he had not maximized Aguero at the beginning of his career.

Aguero debuted in the professional team in 2003 and lasted three years with a score of 23 goals in 56 appearances, before leaving for Atletico Madrid in 2006. Seeing Aguero’s uncertain future, Independiente is ready to take him home.

“I have good relations with Sergio Aguero and Lucas Biglia,” Independiente coach Lucas Pusineri said as quoted by Sportskeeda.

“We are partners and I really respect what they do in Europe and Argentina,” he continued.

“Of course if I can team with them. Of course I hope to be able to rely on them in the future.”
