Indra Sjafri Won’t Mind U19 Indonesia National Team Without Egy Maulana Vikri

DBasia.news – The U19 Indonesia national team will play without Egy Maulana Vikri in the triangle tournament of U19 PSSI Anniversary on September 21-25, 2018. According to the schedule, Indra Sjafri squad will play against U19 China and U19 Thailand.

Indra revealed Egy is still supporting Lechia Gdansk in the Poland League at the meantime. He hopes the 18-year-old midfielder could join the squad on October.

Meanwhile, the U19 national team are preparing before the 2018 U19 Asian Cup on October 18 until November 4, 2018.

“Regarding Egy, he has to come here first. But through the communication, I’m okay if he’s not playing in the triangle tournament,” Indra said.

After the triangle tournament, the U19 national team will play against U19 Saudi Arabia in the last friendly match before the AFF Cup. Indra hopes Egy will join by that time.

“Most importantly later, 10 days before the real tournament so he could have a proper recovery and joins the last friendly match,” Indra said.

Egy is entering the main squad of Lechia. Recently, the Medan player became the starter in the friendly match against Ukrainian club, Karpaty Lviv on September 9.
