Inter Coach Ensures Icardi Won’t Leave to Madrid
By news-admin
DBasia.news – Inter Milan coach, Luciano Spalletti, optimists Mauro Icardi will refuse Real Madrid offer. Spalletti believes Icardi will stay in La Beneamata.
Real Madrid is rumored to aim Icardi replacing Cristiano Ronaldo who moved to Juventus. Icardi’s good performance with Inter Milan is one of the reasons.
During the last four seasons, Icardi always scored a dozen goals for Inter Milan. Moreover, the Argentinian player always became the top scorer during the previous Serie A with 29 goals.
Nonetheless, Spalletti believes Icardi will stay in Giuseppe Meazza. The success story to the Champions League is one of the reasons.
“Qualifying for the Champions League has brought new stimulus,” Spalletti told Rai.
“I’ve talked to Ivan: he’s tired. He’s resting now and then he’ll come with us (for pre-season). He didn’t give me any sign of wanting to leave. It’s the same with Mauro. It’s clear he’ll need to revise his contract, but the signs are all positive. They have to stay,” he continued.
Mauro Icardi has been playing for Inter Milan since the 2013-2014 season. During the period, Icardi played in 182 matches with 107 goals.
