Inter Milan is Interested in Recruiting Olivier Giroud
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Inter Milan are reportedly interested in recruiting Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud, in anticipation of Matteo Politano leaving.
Antonio Conte shocked the public by blatantly saying Inter Milan did not have a good enough depth of the squad. Conte feels difficult when a player is injured.
One of the positions being hit by hurricane injuries is the attack line. At the moment, Alexis Sanchez and Matteo Politano cannot appear soon.
Inevitably, the Inter Milan front line is inhabited by only three players namely Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez, and Sebastiano Esposito. Difficult to rely on these three players to wade through several competitions.
Inter are increasingly cornered because Politano is rumored to intend to leave the transfer market next winter. Politano was disappointed that he did not get enough minutes to play.
The removal of Politano from the Inter Milan first team had indeed been predicted from the start. Because Conte carries a 5-3-2 formation that does not require wing attackers like Politano. Calciomercato proclaimed the Italian was attracting the attention of Atalanta and Fiorentina.
Not wanting to disappoint Conte, Inter Milan management began looking for a replacement for Politano. So, when Politano decided to leave, La Beneamata already pocketed his successor.
So far, Olivier Giroud is on the forefront list. The French national team striker fits into the Conte scheme as Romelu Lukaku’s coating. Moreover, Conte had worked with Giroud while still at Chelsea.
Inter Milan has several advantages in negotiations with Chelsea over Olivier Giroud. The 33-year-old player is reportedly not comfortable at Stamford Bridge. In addition, Giroud’s contract with the Blues will expire in June 2020.
