Inter Milan reportedly wants to bring in Olivier Giroud to coat for Lukaku and Martinez

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Inter Milan are reportedly looking to bring in Olivier Giroud from Chelsea in the transfer market this summer. Actually Inter already has two quality attackers who both performed extraordinary last season. The attackers are Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez.

Inter’s desire to bring in Giroud is reportedly to serve as a cover for Lukaku and Martinez.

“But the club has recruited a substitute striker in the transfer market this time,” wrote a report as quoted by Sportskeeda, Tuesday (15/9).

Incidentally Giroud is predicted to be unable to do much at Chelsea this season. Understandably, the Blues already has a new striker, Timo Werner.

In order to obtain Werner, the British representative must spend 47.7 million pounds. Obviously, the German national team player was not brought in to serve as a coating.

It doesn’t stop there. Chelsea even prefered Tammy Abraham as the second choice striker. Abraham’s age has reached 22 years old. He is predicted to be a mainstay of the Blues and England national team in the future.

That is why Giroud is predicted to leave Stamford Bridge. To sign the French national team bomber, Inter needs to prepare five million euros.

Giroud’s contract in Chelsea has one season remaining. Then he would be 33 years old.

Lately the Nerazzurri has accommodated several players who has played poorly across the Premiere League. Giroud has the potential to follow Romelu Lukaku, Ashley Young, Alexis Sanchez, Victor Moses, as well as Christian Eriksen.
