Inter Milan’s Feud with the Italian Media has made Antonio Conte Open Up on the Matter

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Regarding problems with the Italian media, Corriere dello Sport, Inter Milan coach, Antonio Contem, stated that he would take legal action to sue the media. Conte believes the controversial statements that are often made by the media should be enough to make them ashamed.

The situation heated up on Saturday (12/14) when Conte suddenly canceled a press conference in protest at Corriere dello Sport. Corriere announced an email from Bologna fans who assessed that Conte was ‘relieved’ as Inter were knocked out of the Champions League, and applauded and made other insults.

What made Inter angry was that Corriere’s editor did not take any action to stop it.

“All this (problems with the media) are handled by lawyers,” Conte told Sky Sport Italia.

“That is not my choice, Inter considers it a personal matter. If you want to set an example, we must do it thoroughly and give a signal to all, not just individuals,” he explained.

The Italian media reportedly united to demand an apology from the former Italian and Chelsea national team coach, reportedly Conte has canceled the conference for all media. Conte was surprised by the demands.

“There must be respect, it is truly shocking and strange to see a media association demanding an apology from me. They should be ashamed,” Conte stressed.

“The media has gone too far. One day they published the front page about racism which made us (Italy) a joke all over the world. The other day, they published a letter the day before Sinisa Mihajlovic announced that he was sick, even when they asked not to do so.”

“We have to stop it here. Just because someone holds a pen (they have the power to write), they can’t write anything they want.”

“Inter wants to see this e-mail, as it might be fake and they want to know what the underlying is (published),” concluded Conte.
