Inzaghi Utilized the International Break to Improve Lazio

DBasia.news –Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi believed the Scudetto this season will be for two teams, Juventus and Napoli.

In accordance with that, Lazio have been played against both clubs this season with the minor results. They got defeated 1-2 from Napoli and 0-2 from Juventus.

“Having faced them I think they will play the same role as they did last season,” Inzaghi said reported by Rai Radio.

“They are great teams with two excellent coaches like Allegri and Ancelotti. They will be protagonists with Napoli who will give them a run for their money. But Juve remains a cut above the rest.”

He thinks the two matches against Juventus and Napoli reflected Lazio’s strength so far. Despite, Inzaghi hasn’t surrendered to chase the Scudetto considering the Serie A just went for three matches.

“The condition is improving though and we have our first win, so now we’ll take advantage of this international break to work and prepare well. Empoli won’t be a simple match,” the brother of Filippo Inzaghi mentioned the match on September 16.

“We know how hard these matches are and we were coming off two losses, which is another negative factor. These are games you have to win, but they aren’t easy.”

Lazio are currently staying in the 16th rank with three points from three matches. The only victory gained when defeating Frosinone 1-0 on September 2.
