DBasia.news – 12 years experience coaching the national team is not a short period. Germany national team coach, Joachim Low, is considering coaching the club after 14 years in Germany coaching staffs.
In that long period, the 58-year-old coach has reached the top of the world by winning the 2014 World Cup. Low still led Germany during the failure in the 2018 World Cup.
However, the public still criticized by stating Germany need a change in the managerial position. Low might end his journey with Die Mannschaft and returns to the club.
“I was a club manager for several years and I am still not thinking about retirement,” Löw declared in an interview with German television network ZDF, cited by Sport-English.
“It’s also clear that the majority of my time as national team coach has already passed, so the moment will arrive when I have to think about what I do after. For me, I am still interested in coaching a club,” he explained.
Low’s career as a club coach wasn’t too prominent. There were only two popular teams under his leadership, Stuttgart (1996-1998) and Fenerbache (1998-1999). The rest is just mediocre clubs like Karlsruher, Adanaspor, and Tirol Innsbruck.
Low, who once rumored as Real Madrid coach, might join the club who is currently under Santiago Solari.
“I think it would be abroad, not in Germany,” Low added. The reporters asked about the chance to coach at the Santiago Bernabeu. “Real Madrid are an interesting club for any manager,” he concluded.
