Juventus and Paris Saint – Germain are not suitable for Guardiola
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has recently been linked with several European clubs. Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain are two clubs who are reportedly interested in signing the 49-year-old coach next season.
Man City legend Shaun Goater believes Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain are not a suitable club for Guardiola.
The issue of Guardiola’s departure was even stronger after City was sentenced by UEFA not to participate in Champions League competition for the next two seasons. The Spanish coach also does not want to extend his contract, which will expire in 2022.
“I think Pep Guardiola will survive. I think the project in City isn’t finished yet. Yes, a two-year suspension will have an effect but I also think that, outside the City, where does Pep Guardiola go? ” said Goater at Soccerway.
“He was clearly in Barcelona and went to Bayern Munich. You think in Italy and elsewhere, I don’t think Italy is as attractive as the Premier League. Once again, when you look at the game, the crowd of spectators is not too excited and there is no capacity you get in the Premier League. “
“You can say that France and PSG are a possibility but again, I think this is where he wants to continue and complete his work,” Goater added.
Guardiola himself has coached City since 2016. He recorded 153 wins, 30 draws and 30 defeats in 213 matches in all competitions.
