Juventus Confirm That Matthijs de Ligt Tested Positive for COVID-19

DBasia.news – One more Juventus player who is exposed to the Corona virus. This time it was Matthijs de Ligt’s turn to test positive for COVID-19.
The news was confirmed directly by Juventus via its official website. The Bianconeri squad is back undergoing a test after playing the match against AC Milan, Thursday (7/1).
“Juventus announces that, during the examination regulated by the current protocol, Matthijs de Ligt’s positive COVID-19 result is out. The player has now undergone isolation,” read an official Juventus statement.
The corona virus outbreak has approached the Juventus squad ahead of the match against Milan. Two players, namely Alex Sandro and Juan Cuadrado, were victims.
This problem had threatened the continuity of the two teams’ matches. But in the end, the match could be held on schedule.
De Ligt appeared for 90 minutes in the match which took place at the San Siro. This of course can make other Juventus and Milan players suffer the same fate.
