DBasia.news –  Good news comes from Bayern Munich. Winger Kingsley Coman was declared not to suffer a severe injury after landing imperfectly in a match against Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday (12/12/2019) early morning Western Indonesian Time.

In an official statement issued after further examinations, Kingsley Coman suffered only minor injuries to his left knee. In addition to the knee capsule, injuries are also experienced in the muscles and knee joints. This made the doctor Hans-Wilhelm Mueller-Wohlfarth amazed.

Initially, Mueller-Wohlfarth suspected the Frenchman suffered a severe injury in the knee. It was based on the incident that occurred and the reaction of the pain shown by the player.

“Of course, we were very scared and worried at first. However, Kingsley was very lucky,” Mueller-Wohlfarth said as quoted by Sport1.

Based on an examination conducted by Mueller-Wohlfarth and his team, Kingsley Coman was no longer able to defend Bayern Munich until the winter break. However, he did not need to rest for months.

“The examination shows he only needs to be absent in three matches. In preparation for the second half of Doha, he can rejoin,” said Mueller-Wohlfarth about Kingsley Coman’s recovery agenda.

When facing Tottenham Hotspur on Matchday VI Champions League, Kinglsey Coman was really unlucky. When trying to secure the ball that slides off the field, his feet landed imperfectly. He immediately bounced and collapsed instantly. His position was then replaced by Thomas Mueller.

Initially, it was feared Kingsley Coman had to return a long absence. The reason is, he has a fairly long history of injury. Moreover, the injury was experienced on his knee.
