Kroos Pessimists Real Madrid Could Find Ronaldo’s Successor
By news-admin
DBasia.news – Real Madrid midfielder, Toni Kroos, is pessimists that his team could find the equal successor of Cristiano Ronaldo. Kroos believed Ronaldo wrote a golden ink with Los Blancos.
Cristiano Ronaldo decided to leave Real Madrid after playing for nine years. The Portugal national team player joined Juventus with 105 million euro price tag.
Ronaldo’s exit was a big punch for Real Madrid. The former Manchester United was the key player of El Real in scoring goals. In total, the 33-year-old player scored 311 goals and 95 assists in 292 matches of LaLiga.
“It’ll be difficult to compensate 50 goals per season,” Kroos told Kicker.
Real Madrid and Ronaldo’s relationship was distant since he felt deceived by Florentino Perez. The president didn’t fulfill his promise to give a new contract with a salary upgrade.
“Cristiano has been an important cornerstone for us in the past years, and was instrumental for our successes,” the former Bayern Munchen player said.
However, Kroos optimists Real Madrid will repeat the success.
“In spite of that, I am absolutely convinced of our team. We will again be hard to beat this term,” Kroos insisted.
Until now, Real Madrid are still looking for a player who can fill Cristiano Ronaldo’s position. The newest said Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard as the strongest candidate.
