La Liga About To Begin, Lionel Messi Got Injury and Does Separate Training
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Barcelona continues struggling for Lionel Messi’s recovery ahead of the match against Real Mallorca on Sunday (6/14). Blaugrana is very confident the Argentine national team striker will recover soon.
Barcelona continues to prepare themselves ahead of the rolling of LaLiga 2019-2020 next week. Barca should not get warmed up late as they only got two points advantage from Real Madrid in second place. Barca also have to share focus with other competitions which is Champions League.
Unfortunately, Barcelona’s preparations have been disrupted by injury suffered by Lionel Messi. Barca are not expected to take the risk if La Pulga is not really ready to appear on match day.
“The Barcelona captain, Lionel Messi, suffered a small right quadriceps injury and trained separately. He did special training to avoid unnecessary risks with only eight days left before Barcelona play the match,” Barcelona said in an official statement.
Barcelona plans to hold training at Camp Nou on Saturday (6/6). The policy was taken so that players are used to returning to the stadium.
“Lionel Messi should be able to rejoin teammates in the next few days,” added Blaugrana.
Lionel Messi is still Barcelona’s foundation in scoring goals. This season, the 32-year-old striker has scored 24 goals plus 16 assists in 31 matches.
