DBasia.news – Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard, is quite satisfied that the Blues can get into the top three positions. However, he felt the Blues had not been on the same level as Liverpool and Manchester City.
“We are just happy with what we are doing. We work hard. “It’s great to get into the international break after the victory over Palace,” Lampard said at Soccerway.
“At the start of the week, we could sit and watch other matches, and we respect where Liverpool and Manchester City are. At the moment, Chelsea are still close and we are in good condition. “
Chelsea won 2-0 over Crystal Palace in the continued match of the English League at Stamford Bridge on Saturday (11/09/2019) evening Western Indonesian Time. The Gunners’ winning goal was printed by Tammy Abraham and Christian Pulisic.
Thanks to that victory, Chelsea still remain in the top flight of the English League. The Blues collected 26 points from 12 matches. However, Lampard did not want to boast his team could rival Liverpool and City until the end of the season.
On that occasion, Lampard also mentioned the team’s game against Palace. “I was a little frustrated in the first round. We let the tempo down.”
“We started the game pretty well, if we got the initial goal it felt a different game, but as the game went on it got a little damaged, we were a bit slow with the throw-in, free kicks, forwarding the bait and I just felt if we increased the tempo the game, we will win. The players come out and do that,” Lampard added.
