Leroy Sane Almost Certainly Leaves, Manchester City Doesn’t Need Substitute
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Manchester City is reportedly almost certain to be left by one of their star players, Leroy Sane, who refuses to extend his contract with The Citizens. But for the club manager, Pep Guardiola considers that his team does not need a replacement for Sane.
Sane has indeed expressed his desire to leave the Etihad Stadium. The German player has rejected the offer of a contract extension offered by management,
Even so, the loss of Sane does not seem to be considered a big problem by Guardiola. He will not be in a hurry to find a replacement winger in the upcoming transfer market.
Guardiola has good reason not to panic. he felt he had a lot of players in his squad right now who could fill the role of Sane.
“We have quite a lot of good players up front. There is Gabriel (Jesus) who can play on the left wing. Then, Phil Foden and Raheem Sterling,” Guardiola said, as reported by the official club website.
“Almost all of them are in good condition. They are all players who rarely get injured.”
Although the quality can not be doubted, Sane’s contribution is almost invisible throughout this season. He spent more time for injury recovery.
So basically, losing Sane will not greatly affect the strength of Manchester City. The profits from the sale of the 24-year-old player can actually be used to buy other players as needed.
