DBasia.news – Bayern Munchen striker, Robert Lewandowski, won’t bother to think about the boring performance of his team when defeating AEK Athens in the Champions League. Bayern won 2-0 against AEK Athens in the Group C match of Champions League.
Bayern started the dominance at 31′ by the penalty kick after Urus Cosic’s foul to Lewandowski, who successfully executed that penalty.
Lewandowski added the goal at 71′ from the corner-kick.
“We knew this is the Champions League and after the last few games, this was a step forward. We had the game under control, but of course, we can improve,” Lewandowski said.
“And we will be better before Saturday’s game.”
The result makes Bayern closer to the next round. Bayern lead Group E with 10 points from four matches, two points higher than Ajax Amsterdam.
