Liga 1

DBasia.news – The Liga 1 competition isn’t terminated for a long time. It’s revealed from PSSI letter number 4302/UDN/1958/X-2018 signed by the secretary general Ratu Tisha Destria referring to the PSSI Disciplinary Committee’s assembly on October 1, 2018, and the 2018 Liga 1 clubs forum to start the competition soon.

PSSI asked PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) as the competition operator to start the competition on October 5, 2018.

“By this declaration, we withdraw the termination of 2018 Liga 1 and ask PT Liga Indonesia Baru to conduct the 2018 Liga 1 since October 5, 2018,” PSSI wrote the letter to PT LIB.

If it’s on, it means that the competition just off for a week. Liga 1 will start entering the 25th week.

PSSI give the mandate to PT LIB in scheduling the paused competition. So far, there is no answer yet from PT LIB responding to PSSI letter.

Previously, PSSI terminated the competition following the death of a Persija Jakarta’s supporter, Haringga Sirla, due to the attack from Persib Bandung’s supporters on September 23, 2018. PSSI want to solve the case first.
