DBasia.news – Inter Milan manager, Antonio Conte hopes his side will rise against Hellas Verona in the 2019-2020 Serie A season. Conte’s desires it as before the match the Nerazzurri had just swallowed a 1-2 against Bologna.
Even so, coach Antonio Conte does not want his players to dissolve in sadness. He asked Antonio Candreva and colleagues to rise and show a positive response.
“Certainly, there will be some bitterness and disappointment, but at the same time you must focus on the next match, in this case an important match against a great good team like Verona,” Conte said as quoted by Italian Football, Thursday (9/7).
In the match, Conte was forced to experience changes in matters of the composition of the players. As Danilo D’Ambrosio, and Alessandro Bastoni were absent due to injury.
50-year-old Allenatore doesn’t want to look for excuses. He claimed the situation was the same as that experienced by other teams considering the match was held in the summer of July 2020.
“It is inevitable that injury is part of the price you pay. Sometimes you decide not to risk anything because there is a fear of losing players due to matches, but I fully trust all my players,” he continued.
Furthermore, the former Italian national team tactician praised his opponent, Verona. Conte said Ivan Juric’s players appeared extraordinary throughout the course of the 2019/2020 season. Moreover, they become the debutant team in Serie A.
“They are scary, their strength comes from physical play. So we have to perform well and respond to their every attack,” concluded Conte.
The victory could later be used as the momentum of La Beneamata to cut their gains with SS Lazio, and Juventus at the top of the standings. As in the previous fight, the two teams swallowed disappointing results. I Biancocelesti humiliated Lecce 1-2, while Juve gave up 2-4 at AC Milan headquarters.
Inter Milan also have to reclaim their third place position that is taken over by Atalanta after their 2-0 win at Sampdoria on Thursday. Atalanta collected 66, two points ahead of Inter.
