Lothar Matthaeus: Uli Hoeness Didn’t Really Leave Bayern

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Friday (11/15/2019), Uli Hoeness will officially end his work as President of Bayern Munich. It also marked the end of his 49-year existence at the club. Not a few parties are worried about the future of Die Roten. However, this is not the case with Lothar Matthaeus.

Found in the Bundesliga Experience agenda series in Jakarta, Thursday (11/14/2019), Lothar Matthaeus is optimistic that the departure of Uli Hoeness will not have much effect on Bayern Munich. He also said that not having a structural position does not mean that the influence of Hoeness has completely disappeared.

“Uli Hoeness just resigned from his position, not really left. He will remain at Bayern Munich as an advisor,” said Lothar Matthaeus. “Everything will be alright.”

Furthermore, the West German national team captain when the 1990 World Cup champion revealed, “Uli Hoeness has prepared everything carefully. At Bayern, there will be Herbert Hainer, Hasan Salihamidzic and Oliver Kahn. They are people of the Hoeness faith. So, the effect will still be there.”

Uli Hoeness has worked with Bayern Munich since 1970. He began his work as a player, then became the manager and president of the club. He was recorded only 2.5 years without being in Saebener Strasse. First, in the 1978-79 season when playing for FC Nuernberg. Second, while serving a prison sentence for tax evasion from 2 June 2014 to 29 February 2016.

The Lothar Matthaeus is in Indonesia on the Bundesliga Experience agenda held by the Bundesliga International. On Saturday (11/16/2019), the holder of the most caps for the German national team will greet German soccer fans and Bundesliga fans at the Bundesliga Fan Fest event at the Gelora Bung Karno East Parking.
