Luis Milla Talks About U23 Indonesia National Team Emotion By the Victory

By news-admin

DBasia.news – The U23 Indonesia national team coach Luis Milla speaks up about the emotion shown by the players during the match against Hong Kong in the last match of Group A football in 2018 Asian Games at Patriot Stadium, Bekasi, Monday (20/8).

Four yellow cards rewarded the temperament and emotions of the players. They were for I Putu Gede Juni Antara, Stefano Lilipaly, Febri Hariyadi, and Hansamu Yama.

“It’s normal to be a little bit emotional during the match. Some players did the foul,” Luis Milla said.

“I know they did 100 percent. During the break, there was a time to calm down the players. We knew that we have to score the goal in the second round to get the victory.”

Luis Milla assumed the emotions, especially in the first round related closely with the frustrating situation. Indonesia were conceded and triggered the emotional feeling.

“We want to win, but we were conceded and the players got out of control. It’s all about the individual.”

“Fortunately against UAE in the round of 16, the players just got one yellow card. We will choose the best player. If there is anyone couldn’t play, we will replace him,” Luis Milla continued.

“Certainly I would tell the players to have a rest. We still have time to do the training and face the matches,” Luis Milla added.
