Lyon Bring the Ekambi from Villareal

DBasia.news – Olympique Lyon brings Cameroon striker, Karl Toko Ekambi from Villareal. The French club brought Ekambi from Villareal on loan.
The 27-year-old, who has scored six goals this season, arrived at the Lyon club which is now seventh in Ligue 1, seven points adrift of Rennes in third place and last Champions League ticket.
The Ekambi store will give Lyon coach Rudi Garcia another option for the attacker after the winger, Memphis Depay was sidelined until the end of the season due to a knee injury.
Lyon will pay four million euros in compensation for the loan, with an agreement including an option to keep the Ekambi Shop permanent for 11.5 million euros.
The attacker scored 17 goals in the 2017-2018 Ligue 1 season for Angers and scored 18 goals in all competitions for Spanish club Villarreal last season.
Lyon will face Lille in the French League Cup semifinals on Tuesday, face Nice in the last 16 of the French Cup later this month and are still competing in the Champions League, where they will next face Juventus.
