Madrid Looking For a New Goalkeeper, Navas Responded
By news-admin
DBasia.news – Keylor Navas talked about the issue mentioning that Real Madrid is looking for a new goalkeeper in the transfer market. The Costa Rican goalkeeper is okay with the speculation.
Navas’ relax response was related with his meeting with the coach, Julen Lopetegui. However, Navas didn’t deny the speculation that the club is looking for a new player in the position.
Navas believed he can preserve his position since joining Levante in 2014. Madrid is now looking for a new goalkeeper. Some top names appeared like Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea and Chelsea goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois.
However, Madrid will focus on Courtois. The chance for Los Blancos to get Courtois is big enough. Moreover, the goalkeeper wants to be closer with his son in Madrid. Besides, Courtois’ contract with Chelsea is just another season away.
Responding to this, Navas said he is okay.
“I’m calm, I have two more years on my contract,” Navas said quoted by Marca.
“I have to enjoy every moment, we will see what happens in the future.”
With Madrid, Navas performed impressively since recruited from Levante. The 31-year-old player scored his name in the history as the first goalkeeper who scored the victories in the Champions League final round consecutively.
