DBasia.news – The 2-4 defeat of 13 times Champions League winner Real Madrid from Atletico Madrid in the UEFA emphasized the fact that the team still need another ammunition for the 2018/2019 season. Especially to replace Cristiano Ronaldo who joined Juventus.
Until now, Los Blancos just recruited Vinicius Junior, Andrey Lunin, Alvaro Odriozola, and Thibaut Courtois. The latter is popular in Europe and has a great profile through his success in Atletico Madrid and Chelsea. While the rest aren’t tested yet in the Blue Continent.
Madrid coach Julen Lopetegui just declared that he was satisfied with the current squad. But the rumor said Madrid will look for a new player until the end of the transfer market, especially for the striker.
Valencia’s 27-year-old striker Rodrigo mentioned. He is included in the Madrid’s transfer list due to the connection with Lopetegui previously led the Spain national team. Lopetegui included Rodrigo in the main squad during the 2018 World Cup, before Lopetegui fired and replaced by Fernando Hierro.

Valencia coach Marcelino Garcia Toral realized Madrid’s interest to his player. He thought Madrid could buy the former Benfica player by activating the buying clause worth 120 million euro.
“That’s something you’d have to ask Lopetegui about. I think he will stay here. He looks convinced, excited and motivated. If Real Madrid want him, then there is a release clause,” Marcelino said reported by AS.
Signing Rodrigo could add the option in the front line of Madrid. Besides his ability to play as the central striker, Rodrigo could also play wider as the wing striker. His flexibility to move between the defensive line would create the space for the teammates.
