Maldini Reveals Facts Related to Issue of AC Milan Want to Bring Federico Chiesa
By db-admin
DBasia.news – AC Milan’s Technical Director, Paolo Maldini, clarified the issue that his team wanted to bring in Federico Chiesa. He said Il Diavolo has not made a bid to Fiorentina.
Milan took an impressive step in the transfer market this summer. They succeeded in bringing in Brahim Diaz, Pierre Kalulu, Ciprian Tatarusanu, Sandro Tonali, and permanent Ante Rebic.
The Rossoneri have reportedly not stopped maneuvering in the transfer market to strengthen the team for the 2020/2021 season. Milan is now widely reported to be targeting Fiorentina winger, Federico Chiesa.
The son of Parma legend, Enrico Chiesa, is considered to be one of the most promising young Italian players today. Chiesa was able to pack 11 goals and nine assists in all competitions last season for La Viola.
The 22-year-old player has also collected 19 caps for the Italian national team. Milan are rumored to be trying to sell Lucas Paqueta and Rade Krunic to get fresh funds to redeem Chiesa.
Fiorentina is said to have set a price tag of 40 million euros for Chiesa. The Genoa-born youth contract at Fiorentina still has two more seasons left until June 2022.
However, Maldini immediately denied this rumor. He said Milan had not yet established any communication with Fiorentina to sign Chiesa.
“He is one of the best young men in Italy. However, there are no negotiations with Fiorentina for Chiesa. This is the current condition,” said Maldini as quoted by SempreMilan.
