Man United Legend Wanted to Break Transfer Record for Kane

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  The legend of Manchester United (MU), Mark Bosnich, doubted the Red Devils would break the transfer record for the sake of Tottenham Hotspur bomber, Harry Kane.

Kane is a graduate of Tottenham academy. Since his appearance in the first team in the 2013/2014 season, Kane has made 181 goals in 278 appearances.

In Premier League records, Kane has always scored double-digit goals in the last five seasons. The 2017/2018 season is his best season with 30 goals and he has also won the Golden Boot twice.

Although sharp, Kane has never felt any title with Tottenham. As a result, he was widely associated with MU, Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Bosnich believes if MU gives an offer of 200 million pounds, which is a world record, Tottenham will accept it. But, he doubted the Red Devils wanted rods like that.

“Tottenham have paid for their own stadium, that is a very large amount, and with the Covid-19 situation, the situation is difficult for everyone,” Bosnich told Sky Sports.

“If they were offered the money, then I am pretty sure that, regardless of what Daniel Levy said, he would accept Manchester United’s offer. But, I don’t think MU will go that far in offering that kind of money, especially in the current situation,” Bosnich added.

Kane himself had previously stated that he would move if Tottenham never achieved achievements.
