Manchester City Ready to Release Leroy Sane

DBasia.news – Manchester City are reportedly ready to sell Leroy Sane to Bayern Munich in the transfer market next summer if the winger refuses a new contract.

The 24-year-old German has scored 39 goals in 134 appearances for The Citizens since joining from Schalke 04 in 2016.

Sane, who is entering the final year of his current contract, is recovering from a long knee injury he suffered in a Community Shield match against Liverpool in August last year, forcing him to fail to move to Bayern and having to pull over for nine months.

Sane, who only appeared once for City in the 2019/20 season, is believed to still be the target of Bayern.

But the City are reluctant to sell Sane cheaply. The English Premier League club appear to be only releasing the player with a minimum offer of £ 35 million.

Even so, City reportedly wants to negotiate with Bayern if it’s clear Sane really wants to leave.
