Manchester City’s Trophy Tour in Barcelona
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Titled the Global Trophy Tour, Manchester City will begin exhibiting their trophy collection in Barcelona in October.
In collaboration with Etihad Airlines, Man City will show off the four trophies won by Pep Guardiola’s team last season: Community Shield, FA Cup, League Cup and Premier League. This also proves the memories of the fantastic season City has gone through.
As confirmed by the club’s official website, Man City fans in Barcelona will have the opportunity to take photos with the four trophies as of October 9, 2019 at the Barcelona Plaza Hotel, Placa Espana.
After showing off their trophies in Barcelona, Man City will continue to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, where the Man City captain, David Silva, is originated. Silva will be there on October 11, 2019.
“The next stop is Spain – and part of our next trip is to visit Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, where our club captain, David Silva, will show the trophy with local supporters at the Campo De Futbol Arguineguin, where he began his career,” wrote a Man City statement on the official page.
All of the domestic trophies have been won by Manchester City. Only one is missing from Man City’s cabinet: the Champions League title. Last season, Man City were eliminated in the quarter-final phase by Tottenham Hotspur.
