Manchester United is considered better to bring in Harry Kane than Jadon Sancho

DBasia.news – Manchester United chose Jadon Sancho as their main target to bring to Old Trafford in the transfer market this summer. However, it is considered that the Red Devils needed Harry Kane more to compete for the Premiere League title for the 2020-2021 season.
This opinion was expressed by one of the legends of Manchester United, Gary Neville. He thinks Kane’s figure will significantly improve the quality of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team.
Sancho and Kane are two players that Manchester United have been targeting since last season. But both have high values, making them challenging to bring in to Old Trafford.
“Sancho might fit in with the figure he is looking for, but I’m not sitting here as a United fan who thinks I really want him. But if Harry Kane is available, he will obviously improve United’s squad,” Neville told Sky Sports.
According to Neville, Sancho’s presence is less urgent with Mason Greenwood’s increasingly consistent appearance. The 18-year-old player has indeed been quite good when played as a right winger.
The same thing was expressed by one of the former assistant coaches of Manchester United, Rene Meulensteen. He considered that Solskaer needed additional world-class attackers rather than wingers.
“If they are able to obtain Kane, I would say ‘yes, they will be competing for the title next season,” said Meulensteen.
Unfortunately bringing in Kane will also not be easy this summer. Apart from being of high value, Tottenham certainly also objected to releasing one of its competitors in the Premier League.
Opportunities for Manchester United to purchase Kane will be more open next season. The attacker had indeed expressed his desire to leave to a bigger club to win a trophy.
