Massara Doesn’t Want the Rossoneri to Fail to the Champions League
By db-admin
DBasia.news – It is the law that the Rossoneri should not fail to qualify for the Champions League or finish in the top four. AC Milan’s sporting director, Ricky Massara, considers it is forbidden for the Rossoneri to fail.
“There is a very long road ahead and our ambition is to compete for a place in the Champions League,” Massara told Sky Sport Italia.
Milan started this season with Coach Marco Giampaolo. After experiencing four defeats in the first seven matches, the Rossoneri then fired the former Sampdoria coach.
Milan then appointed Stefano Pioli as his successor. He debuted when the Rossoneri drew 2-2 with Lecce, Monday (10/21/2019) AM.
Massara explained, the target of his team did not change despite changing coaches. He is also optimistic that Milan can qualify for the Champions League next season.
“The aim is to develop. We want to be ambitious, because we are Milan, but there are lots of strong teams and we don’t feel that we are below them, “Massara added.
Milan itself is now in 12th position of the Italian League standings. The Rossoneri has collected 10 points from eight matches.
In the next fight, Suso and his mates will travel to AS Roma’s headquarters in the Olimpico. Victory is a fixed price for the Rossoneri.
