Mino Raiola Adds New Requirements in recruiting Erling Haaland

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Erling Haaland’s transfer saga looks set to be even more complicated next summer. The player’s agent, Mino Raiola, has reportedly set additional conditions in recruiting the player.

Borussia Dortmund as the club owner does not intend to sell Haaland. However, Die Borussen’s bargaining position will weaken if they fail to qualify for the Champions League.

Haaland has reportedly asked to be let go if this happened. Raiola has even held meetings with a number of big clubs to discuss the future of his client.

Dortmund may have to sell Haaland forcibly in the summer. But the German club will not let their flagship players leave for cheap.

The official price for Haaland is estimated at more than 100 million euros. That leaves a few clubs with the financial strength to make up for it.

But the efforts of interested club did not just fulfill the official price set by Dortmund. They also had to agree to the salary proposal Raiola wanted for his client.

Reporting from the Mirror, Raiola has asked for a fantastic salary value for Haaland. The amount has reached one million euros per week.

However, this amount is not only from the base salary. The club can enter an image rights clause or other commercial agreement to achieve the amount Raiola demands.

Breaking records

If that happens, Haaland would be crowned the highest paid footballer in the world. He defeated two megastars, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Messi’s basic salary in Barcelona reached 500 thousand euros per week. Meanwhile, Juventus only spent 365 thousand euros per week for Ronaldo’s salary.

Raiola’s request will certainly further narrow the list of clubs capable of signing Haaland. It is possible that this will actually make other clubs retreat.
