Ms. Cristiano Ronaldo Claims Her Child is a Victim of the Mafia Ball
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most accomplished and respected players in the world, but the Juventus and Portugal national team attackers are victims of the ‘soccer mafia’, according to the statement of the player’s mother Dolores Aveiro.
The 34-year-old striker has been at the top of football for more than a decade, bagging many titles while at Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus and even guiding Portugal to his first major title at Euro 2016.
Ronaldo’s success makes him still compete with his rival, Lionel Messi as a player with the most Ballon d’Or. Both of them have won the award five times.
However, Ronaldo failed to win the sixth Ballon d’Or last year when he was only runner-up to former Real Madrid teammate Luka Modric.
Dolores Aveiro himself believes that his son has not received proper recognition, he insisted that certain parties prevented Ronaldo from winning more titles or awards.
“There is a mafia. That’s the right word to define it. Yes, there is a mafia in football,” he said.
“If there is no football mafia, my son will have more (individual) international trophies. If you see everything that happens, you will realize that it is the act of the mafia.”
“If he is Spanish or English, they will not do what they do to him. However, because he is Portuguese and from Madeira … well, this is happening.”
