MU becomes Erling Haaland’s Main Choice

DBasia.news –  Salzburg striker, Erling Haaland, explained that Manchester United were his first choice when moving from the Austrian club in the January transfer window.

Haaland also wants to reunite with his fellow countryman and former coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who currently coaches United.

The Norwegian national team player is one of the most desirable talents in Europe after bagging eight goals in six Champions League matches.

Haaland prefers to move to Old Trafford even though he visited two German clubs Borusssia Dortmund and Red Bull Leipzig last week.

Solskjaer reportedly had to fly to Austria to meet with Haaland to convince him that United was the right club for him.

Solskjaer and the 19-year-old player had worked together when they were still at the Norwegian club, Molde, and they were able to reunite in England.

Solskjaer stated earlier this year that United needed to look for more options in their attack line after selling Romelu Lukaku in the summer.
