Muhammad Ridho Djazulie Isn’t Aiming the Position as National Team’s Main Goalkeeper

DBasia.news – Muhammad Ridho Djazulie becomes one of 22 players called-up by Indonesia national team ahead of the friendly matches against Myanmar and Hong Kong.

For this Borneo FC goalkeeper, the call-up was a great experience. It’s his debut, and the 27-year-old player didn’t eye the starter position.

PSSI called 22 Indonesia national team players for two friendly matches against Myanmar on October 10 and Hong Kong 6 days later. In the goalkeeper position, there are two players. Besides Ridho, there is also Andritany Ardhiyasa.

The Persija Jakarta goalkeeper is the main goalkeeper of U23 Indonesia national team in 2018 Asian Games. Ridho let the coach choose the main goalkeeper for the two upcoming friendly matches.

“Regarding the main starter, it depends on the coach. But for me, every single moment with the national team is precious,” Ridho said.

Seeing Ridho as one of Indonesia national team squad players, Luizinho Pasos felt proud. The Borneo FC coach assumes his player is the example of a professional player.

“I’m proud to see Ridho called-up by Indonesia national team, he always shows his professionalism. Hopefully, he will be successful in the national team and gets the chance to play,” Pasos said.
