Neuer Said Germany Wasted the Opportunities Too Often

DBasia.news – Germany national team got defeated 1-2 against France in the third matchday of League A Group 1 UEFA Nations League at Stade de France.
Germany captain Manuel Neuer assumed Der Panzer performed great in that match. However, Neuer thinks Germany got defeated due to the failure to maximize some opportunities.
“Everything worked well right from the start – we had many good moves and created a lot of opportunities,” Neuer said quoted from UEFA website.
“Unfortunately, we didn’t score the first goal from (the chances). We scored the penalty but we should have converted more of our chances.”
The Bayern Munich goalkeeper’s statement is related to the match statistic. Die Mannschaft dominated the match for achieving 55 percent of ball possession and created nine opportunities, three of them met the target.
This failure threatens Germany to the degradation of League B UEFA Nations League. They do not only need a victory against the Netherlands in the match on November 19, but Germany also hope France defeated the Netherlands in the match three days before that.
Currently, Germany are at the bottom of League A Group 1 standing with one point. They got left two points from the Netherlands as the runner-up and six points difference from the leader, France.
