After the match, the discordant notes about Niko Kovac’s future at Bayern Munich sprung up. Kovac himself expressed his frustration when the fight was over.

“Everything is against Bayern Munich after eight minutes because of a red card. We didn’t play well in the second half, but the red card was also a factor,” Niko Kovac stated.

“What do you want to know from me now? I don’t have anything to share! I myself don’t know about my future at Bayern Munich.”

“Maybe, you know more than me about that. We always talk about hypotheses. I know how the football business works. I am not naive,” he added.

This is the biggest defeat of Bayern Munich in the last decade. The last time Der Bayern was defeated 1-5 was in 2009 from Wolfsburg.
