Niko Kovac’s Comments After Bayern Munich vs Bochum
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Bayern Munich coach, Niko Kovac, was not satisfied with the appearance of his team after the win over Bochum.
Bayern Munich visited Bochum headquarters in the second phase of the 2019-2020 German Cup on Tuesday (29/10). The match was won by Niko Kovac’s squad 2-1.
In that match, Bayern Munich conceded first. Alphonso Davies scored against his own goal when the match ran 36 minutes.
Luckily for Bayern Munich, they appeared impressive in the final 10 minutes of the match. Serge Gnabry and Thomas Muller turn things around and pass the visitors.
Even so, Niko Kovac was not satisfied with the appearance of Bayern Munich. The coach considered Die Bayern performed poorly in the early 70 minutes of the match.
“Everything went wrong for the first 60 to 70 minutes. Bayern Munchen gave a lot of bad feedback. In my opinion, there are attitude problems here,” said Niko Kovac.
“There is no problem in terms of tactics. However, some things need to be addressed from the attitude of Bayern Munich. Many players who appear and give bad feedback.”
“After Philippe Coutinho and Thomas Muller entered, Bayern Munich became better. In the end, we were lucky to face Bochum who played well,” he added.
Niko Kovac’s disappointment was reasonable. Because the status of Bayern Munich and Bochum is like heaven and earth. Die Bayern is ranked second in the Bundesliga, while his opponents are bottom of the Bundesliga 2.
