Nuno Appreciates the Wolves vs Liverpool Level of Game

DBasia.news – Wolverhampton Wanderers has not been able to sprawl Liverpool for the first time in the Premier League this season. Hosting the Reds at Molineux Stadium, Friday (1/24) AM, Wolves surrendered 1-2.
Despite failing to achieve perfect results, the host coach, Nuno Espirito Santo, was not too disappointed. He felt that his players had appeared as he hoped.
“We performed well. Defensively, we were well organized. We blocked many situations (the Reds’ attempted attack). We created opportunities, equalized at the right moment,” said the Portuguese tactician.
Nuno did not dismiss that his team received a great opponent. But this did not make Raul Jimenez and colleagues lose confidence.
Both teams displayed actions in attacking each other. He was pleased with the level of play seen at Molineux Stadium.
“Today we faced a team with a fantastic coach. That is the standard we want. We want to compete. We looked good, underwent a process to continue to develop. It takes time, and we will be there (fighting at the top level),” said Nuno .
This defeat did not make Nuno feel dense. He is grateful for the maximum support of the Wanderers fans.
However, there are some things that are the subject of evaluation. One of them is oon how to take advantage of opportunities when attacking.
Nuno assesses that his troops tend to play with the ball for too long. That can eliminate the momentum as it will soon be anticipated by the opposing camp.
